A quick guide to getting started with Kolla's Unify APIs
1. Connect to a customer account
- Start by creating an invite link and sending it to your customer. For on premise systems like OpenDental, EagleSoft, etc., have your customer open the invite link on their "server" computer, or the computer where the data is housed.
- Your customer will be guided through an installation process and when they have completed it, their Linked Account will appear in the Linked Accounts section in the Kolla Admin
2. Get your authentication and connector data
- Go to Settings -> API Keys and create a new API key. Make sure to record it somewhere safe because you won't be able to see it again later.
- Go to Linked Accounts and get the
Connector ID
and theConsumer ID
for the customer that you want to get data for. Note them for the next step.
3. Try the API
- Depending on the connector you used, you will use the Unify Dental, Unify Vet, or Unify Aesthetics endpoints
- If your linked account is a dental connector, go to List Contacts endpoint and enter your API key in the Bearer token box.
- Add the
Connector ID
and theConsumer ID
into their respective boxes in the auth section. - Click on the
Try It!
button and see the results!
